This project involved the design and construction of a large timber frame office extension for a rapidly expanding business that had outgrown its existing space.
The client required a practical, well structured expansion that would support their continued growth while maintaining a professional working environment. We delivered a fully managed build from start to finish, overseeing every stage of the project.
The completed space includes four private offices, a main communal workspace, two toilets, a Howden’s kitchen area with a breakfast bar, a converted container meeting room, a substantial ground floor storage area and dedicated staff gym. A communal balcony finished in composite decking and artificial grass provides additional breakout space, we made the balustrade up with oak posts and installed a stainless steel handrail up with stainless steel cat wire between the posts.
The build incorporated structural carpentry, full 1st and 2nd fix works, and a range of bespoke elements including custom built desks made to the client’s chosen specification.
This was one of our largest projects to date and showcases the scale of work Oakrya is capable of delivering, from structural construction through to detailed finishing.
